The Stockholm Environment Institute is an international not-for-profit research organization that has been engaged in environment and development issues at local, national, regional and global policy levels for 25 years. The CEO Water Mandate mobilizes business leaders to advance water stewardship, sanitation, and the Sustainable Development Goals – in partnership with the United Nations, governments, peers, civil society, and others. It is a special initiative of the UN Secretary-General and the UN Global Compact, implemented in partnership with the Pacific Institute. The CEO Water Mandate offers a unique platform to share best and emerging practices and to forge multi-stakeholder partnerships to address challenges related to water scarcity, water quality, water governance, and access to water and sanitation.
mWater is a non-profit organization dedicated to using data and technology to reduce disease and improve water and sanitation services around the world. mWater works collaboratively with government and civil society organizations to use digital technology to make their work more efficient and effective. The free and open-access mWater platform has over 13,000 users working in 135 countries, allowing anyone to map and monitor data using mobile smartphones, analyze changes over time, and create high quality maps and dashboards with real time data.
